Dear everyone,

our names are Esma Alajbegović, Sara Alađuz, Emira Ibrahimović, Hana Mahmutović and Sara Trifunović. We are students of II-3 IB MYP and as a part of our Service as Action Project we have decided to participate in donating books to the Home “Ljubica Ivezić” Sarajevo, known as the place for children without parental care. The reason we are doing this is to bring awareness towards the importance of reading and books, as well as developing empathy towards sharing and engaging in kind acts that will benefit others apart from us. Unfortunately, we are unable to make a big change without your help, thus are kindly asking you to be a nice soul and donate books that you no longer use or have no interest in. The way you can help us is by dropping the books off at Druga gimnazija Sarajevo at a special desk placed next to the school library located on the ground floor until Friday (14th of May 2021) by 1 pm. The number of books that can be donated is unlimited and they can be in both Bosnian and English. The preferable genre of the books should be aimed towards teens and children.
